The Camden News reported:- " The marriage was celebrated at the Methodist Church, Camden, on June 27th, by the Rev. A. H. Johnstone, of Stella, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Moore, of Glenmore, Camden, to James Victor, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. David Johnston, of 'Ellenthorpe,' Tenterfield. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a gown of ivory crepe de chine with the customary wreath and veil, and carried a shower bouquet of white sweet peas, Iceland poppies and pale pink carnations. Miss Edna Moore, sister of the bride, acted as bridesmaid, and wore powder blue crepe de chine with black picture hat, and carried a shower bouquet of pale pink sweet peas and pink passion blossom, with pink ribbon streamers. Mr. Dave Staines, of Kingaroy, Queensland, nephew of the bridegroom, acted as best man. The church was beautifully decorated by friends of the bride. Mr. Frank Whiteman presided at the organ. A reception was held in the Methodist School Hall, where the guests were received by the bride's mother, who wore a gown of black figured marocain, and carried a posy of violets and wallflowers veiled with brown tulle. Later the newly wedded pair left for the South Coast, the bride travelling in a costume of grey repp and small black hat. "

Death At Toowoomba
Mr. T. Moran snr., chairman of the Peak Downs Shire Council, received the sad news of the death of his brother George, in theToowoomba Hospital at the age of 73. Deceased was a native of King's County, Ireland, and came to Queensland when very young. Deceased spent the greater part of his ife in Crow's Nest and Cooyar and also resided in Capella for a short time. He followed the occupation of droving and was a man well liked by all with whom he was acquainted. His remains left St. Patrick's Church for the Toowoomba cemetery. The last sad rites were conducted by Rev. Father Madden.
