Thomas Harris and wife....." - Adolf Birrer and Esther Tedford appeared on the Electoral Roll in 1903 living at Thallon Street, Crow's Nest. Adolf (Alfred in the Electoral Roll) was a carpenter.
- On 4 September 1930,his wife, Esther Tedford died in Esk, Queensland. It appears Esther and Adolf were separated for many years before she died, but it was only when Esther died that Adolf married Ida Barnes.
- At the age of 68 years, 9 months and 18 days, Adolf Birrer married Ida May Barnes, daughter of Charles Barnes and Mary Ann Maddern, on 22 November 1930 in Sandgate, Queensland. - She was the daughter of Adolf Birrer and Ida May Barnes.
- At the age of 14 May started work as a housemaid. When she was a few years older she met Con Robinson but her father refused to allow her marriage to a Catholic. However, on his death May converted to Catholicism and married Con.
- May Birrer's and Cornelius James Robinson's first child Anthony was born 13 November 1932 in Sandgate, Queensland. He was born prematurely after May had a fall while visiting her father in hospital and did not survive.
- At the age of 19 years, 3 months and 7 days, May Birrer married Cornelius James Robinson, son of Sidney Herbert Robinson and Mary Ellen McAuliffe, on 25 November 1932 in Queensland. May and Con lived in Red Hill and then Sandgate where Con worked for his father as a plumber.
- The family lived in Miles where Con worked for the Railway for a short time. He joined the Army and May took the children back to Sandgate. After the War the family moved to Rockhampton and Yeppoon and then Toowoomba and Roma.
- On 7 November 1975,her husband, Cornelius James Robinson died in Roma, Queensland, at age 61. He died from an asthma attack.
