The residence on Mr Williams land will be used as a Presbytery, Miss O’Sullivan’s property as a Convent and the present church as a school, and a new and commodious church will be erected.
  The site is very valuable, being in the centre of Crows Nest
  Archbishop Duhig’s three days mission was very well attended.
  His Grace returned to Brisbane today."

  Presentation at Dunwich DUNWICH. April 13.
  Dr. W. F. Harlin has made history in the annals of Dunwich. He stands in the unique position of being the first medical superintendent' to receive a pre sent from the inmates of the institution, as a token of their esteem and their thanks for the loving care and attention he has bestowed upon all. The sentiments of the inmates are resolved by the officers and staff of the institution, and the residents of Dunwich generally. Mr. R. A. S. Browne handed a wallet of notes to the doctor as o mark of appre ciation and a parting gift from the offi cers and staff; Dr. Harlin left Dunwich by a launch decked with flags in his honour."

• Between 1933 and 1950 Alfred Jabez Harriman and Lucy Isabel Werner lived in Silver Spur, Texas, Queensland. Alfred drew a block of land at Silver Spur where they family dairied for 17 years. Lucy travelled back to Stanthorpe for the birth of their second and third sons.
