  • On 21 December 1917,her husband, David Ferrier died in Newfarm, Brisbane, Queensland, at age 68.
  • On 15 August 1919 The Western Argus newspaper reported "Probates Re-sealed. David Ferrier, late of Brynong, Queensland, to Claude Ulnnack as attorney for Alice Mabel Ferrier and others, £1778."
  • Alice Mabel Neal appeared on the Electoral Roll in 1943 living at "Sylvia Vale", Crow's Nest. Alice was shown as a farmer, as was her two daughters Mabel and Muriel who lived with her.
