He stated he had one child and agreed to have 2/5 of his pay sent to his mother for her support. His wife and other chidren were not mentioned. He served in England but was returned to Australia and discharged on Medical grounds on 12 Feb 1918.
  • Elizabeth Remlinger died on 9 August 1924 at age 80.

After their marriage they went to Western Queensland, where Mr. Davidson was a driver for Cobb and Co., and station manager. In 1902 they come to Oakey and worked a farm, later went to Djuan, and 18 years ago retired and went to Toowoomba. They had been living in Crow's Nest for the last five years. Mr. C. J. Davidson, of Crow's Nest, is the only surviving son. There are five grand children and five great-grandchildren."
