The petitioner in her evidence stilted that she had been married to the respondent at Feilding on August 22, 1899, and there had been eight children born of the union. Everything went well until about eight years ago, when the parties were living at Mangaweka. She had then reason to suspect undue intimacy between the respondent and a woman who was living in the house, but he denied the accusation. She (petitioner) had left the house to earn her own living as a waitress, and after that her husband had taken to drinking heavily. She bad reason to believe that he was living with another woman while she was earning her own living, and she put in a letter from him making certain admissions.
